How to cancel a booking

Use the cancellation link in your confirmation email — no account or password needed.


Every BookedYourSlot booking confirmation email contains a personal cancellation link, so you can cancel any time without needing to create an account.

Cancel from your confirmation email

  1. Open the email titled "Your booking with [business name]".
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the email body.
  3. Click the Cancel this booking link.
  4. On the page that opens, review the booking details and click Cancel this booking to confirm.

Once you confirm, the slot is released immediately so someone else can book it, and the business owner is automatically notified.

What if I've deleted the email?

The cancellation link only exists inside that confirmation email — there's no separate cancellation page on the booking site. If you've deleted the email:

  • Check your trash/bin and spam folders.
  • Search your inbox for the business name or the word "booking".
  • If you genuinely can't find it, contact the business directly. They can cancel the booking on your behalf from their dashboard, and you'll receive a cancellation email so you have a record.

After you cancel

You'll see a confirmation page that says the booking is cancelled. The business owner is automatically notified by email at the same time. The slot is freed instantly — you don't need to wait for anyone to action it.
